My name is David Treharne

I graduated from the University of South Wales, Newport, with a 2:1 BA Degree in Computer Games Design. If I were to choose a title to represent my core skills, it would be Game Designer or 3D Environment Designer.

Over the years, I've also produced Machinima. I've directed, filmed, edited, produced music, and written scripts for various productions, as well as being responsible for dealing with internal and external capture cards setups.

Then I've also made short web comics, written short stories, drawn concept art, illustrations, worked as a graphic designer, website designer, and I've also spent time as a Journalist for 3 different online publications.

Developing a Video Game is a mixture of various roles and disciplines. A combination of: Art; Music; Psychology; Science; Technology; Language; Engineering; Social Studies; and much more than I can think to list.

I therefore believe it's important for me to exercise a broad range of skills, and to keep an open mind in order to ensure that I approach the design process in a holistic manner to achieve the best results possible.

For relaxation, I usually play Video Games, or my Piano and Guitar. Amidst all of this, I'm also learning Japanese and learning how to cook. I find my life is always interesting and I'm never bored or looking for anything to do!

Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor.
